Through our films we hope to question conservatism and the social status in Western culture. We find beauty in humans expressing themselves through and beyond their vulnerability and inadequacy.
Julie Deffet was born in a small French speaking town in southern Belgium. She studied Journalism at L'Université Libre in Brussels and after getting her Master's Degree moved to New York City to study filmmaking at The New School for Public Engagement. She currently lives and works in New York City.
